It's been a busy month at Recovery Canada - The Wellness Network, but finally, we've done it! The updated graphics and site map are now complete. Users should find the site more pleasing to the eye and more easily navigable; the whole user interface has also been updated to make the site more user-friendly and browser compatible. New services, such as the Recovery Canada - The Wellness Network Library with separate Reading Centres specific to users' needs, have been added to the Resource Area, making Recovery Canada - The Wellness Network an even better resource for site visitors and members of our communities.
The coming months promise to be just as exciting. Recovery Canada - The Wellness Network has been interviewed by a major magazine (in-print and electronic versions) for inclusion in their summer edition. It's exciting to think about this high-profile national exposure; many people who have been unaware of our support services will have the opportunity to look us over and consider becoming part of our caring support communities. Watch here for a link to the electronic version and an announcement about when it will be available on your local newsstand.
We have also begun the process of "growing" the support areas we are offering. Over the next while, we will be investigating the possibility of partnering with a number of the best Canadian service and support agencies to provide information and support services for a broader range of needs. Watch for services coming soon for individuals living with cancer and for survivors of domestic violence.
