Welcome to My Mind
Welcome to my mind,
its secrets and its shame;
within it lies the answers,
the questions I don't know.
Be careful of the filth,
its built up rather high;
I've tried to clean it up,
but there's always more I find.
Watch out for the scars.
not always clear to see;
but just a gentle bump,
can make them bleed anew.
Be sure to block your ears,
the noise is deafening here;
sometimes it stops its true,
but it will start again.
Be careful to tread lightly,
no sudden movements make;
for in the darkness here,
monsters surely lurk.
Be sure to bring a light,
its awful dark in here;
but please don't shine it brightly,
the truth is hard to bear.
Be quiet now and listen,
there's something in the chaos;
can you hear the beating?
Welcome to my heart.
