A child's Innocence! Why must a child pay for the actions of an adult? Why do they misuse the trust a child has? Late night encounters as alcoholic demons enter! What is on th silent agenda tonight? Will it be a physical fight with mommy or us? Or do you try to creep silently into our room? You tell us you love us as you touch places that should not be touched! Explaination given, this is how love is showed! How dare you take our innocence away! Once it is gone it never returns. The memories come back and haunt at night. The feelings of disgust,resentment and selfworthlessness! Never really knew what being a child meant. Abandonment so often felt! Parents never home,in a bar every night! NO food to eat just a bottle of rye in sight! I don't understand how this can happen. Only knowing from experience the after effects! So if someone touches and it does not feel right. Don't keep the secret tell any one,two,or more! For you see eventually someone will hear! Hopefully someone will believe and take action! Black and blue bruises how yes they do heal! Yet they fester out like lesions when they come out! Mental abuse scars you do not see. They are there inside till your mind breaks loose. No child should ever have to go through this. It is not right,innocence taken away day or night! Please help a child even if your not sure. The safety of a child is meant for much more!
