Should I feel the rage for the sins cast upon me by my Father, Stepmother, and the man who stole innocence?
Should I fill my soul with hate & anger? Fueling the words as I write?
Should I fake my happiness, pretending no tears rip through my heart as I cry?
Should I fall and stop my heart from beating, breaking with words unspoken?
Could I carry the rage and make it my own, taking control from the monsters?
Could I re-fill my soul, providing strength and love, pushing out all evils?
Could I have real happiness? Healing my heart giving me strength to fight?
Could I stand and face my world, defending my honour, releasing the power of my words?
Would you feel the rage and replace it with love?
Would you empty your soul leaving room for more?
Would you stand?
Would you fall?
Would your words live?
Would they die?
We all should.
We could if we wanted.
