There were days in the past That you were sure, you’d never last. But you endured, the Son has shone Your life has brightened, fear is gone! “One day at a time” became your theme, Life was surreal, could this be a dream? You built a wall to keep people out, Instead, you kept yourself in, what a joke. No one ever understood, how vulnerable you were How in a crowd, you were so insecure. But you endured, the Son has shone, Your life has brightened, fear is gone! Decisions were made, consequences met. Fear subsided, prayers were sent. Knowledge was given, one thing is sure, If you loved the Son, He helped you endure. Through Him, burdens are lifted, Through Him, you will succeed, After all, you are a part of His big family.
