Loving in Fear - A Canadian Anthology

An Anthology of Lesbian and Gay Survivors

In a world where often we already feel marginalized, ashamed, unworthy, unlovable, because we are survivors, lesbians and gay men who are survivors are doubly challenged.

This is an excellent collection of poetry, short stories, and non-fiction written by Canadians. These brave authors share their stories. It is painfully direct, and sometimes, hard to read. It has the potential of being very triggering, and yet, somehow the sharing of others' "telling" is empowering at the same time.

This book is published by Q-Press, an independent publisher in Toronto and may not be widely available (ISBN 1-895564-00-x), but if you are a lesbian/gay/bi survivor or know one, it's worth the effort to find it.
